Back on Wednesday 8th September I was booked through Assured Events to entertain at the 40th Anniversary Party for the Association of University Engineers with close-up magic and mind-reading.

This was a great event, and was held at Albert's Shed, and fantastic venue in Greater Manchester.

Being a room full of engineers (who like to use logic to solve problems) this could have been what is known in the trade as a 'tough gig'. Fortunately my magic holds up pretty well, and is also great entertainment and went down so well it even got a mention in the conference the next day.

Karl and Kate from Assured Events had a camera in tow and managed to grab a few photos and forwarded them on to me.
