Princes Trust Fundraising at Royal Ascot
18 October 2010
On 16th October 2010 I performed close-up magic at the Pavillion at Royal Ascot Race Course. I was booked on behalf of CSC for their event to raise money for the Prince's Trust Charity.
The reason I was asked to attend was because earlier in the year I performed magic at Amanda's (the event organisers) wedding. Following the great reactions and feedback she had from her guests she recommended me to the rest of the commitee.
Due to the size of the event (almost 450 people) I also suggested two other professional magicians (Ravi Mayar and Dan Hudon) to ensure that everyone who attended saw some magic. Working with other magicians is always great fun, especially as we have contrasting styles.
Although I had to leave before the event finished it was obvious that it was a great success and enjoyed by everyone in attendance, and raised a good sum for the Prince's Trust Charity. The event was also covered by an official photographer, and hopefully I can get hold of some of the photos taken at this prestigious event and post them on my website gallery.
