Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of entertaining at the wedding of Sam and Steve.  For the week running up to the date of Sam and Steve's wedding on Friday 28th October the weather had been terrible, but miraclously the clouds cleared that morning and it was a lovely sunny and warm day.  So much so that I spent more time entertaining guests outside than inside whilst the happy couple were having their photographs taken.

The wedding was at Highfield Park (which is officially listed as Hook in Hampshire, but in reality is closer to Reading in Berkshire) and it is a nice venue, and the staff are friendly their too.

Yesterday Sam sent me an email thanking me for my serives.

Hi Robert

Just writing to say a huge 'Thank You!' for your magical entertaining of our guests at our recent wedding. You did a fantastic job mingling and entertaining the various groups - we had a lot of people there that didn't know each other, so it was excellent you could help to 'break the ice'. We absolutely loved our day, and are so happy that everything went according to plan (surpassed the planning, in fact!)
