I usually receive testimonials and thank-you cards from clients, but when I receive a good service I like to let people know. As you may know I recently had my website completely overhauled by ooba:interactive and have sent them a testimonial. However, in a guesture of kindness I thought I'd make it an open letter and put it on my website. If you do contact ooba:interactive let them know you heard about them through me, you won't get a discount, but at least they won't be so angry at me when I accidentally take the site off-line and they need to re-install it...

Dear Adam,

Many thanks again for developing and building my new website, http://www.robertbone.co.uk/. Because I had managed my website for the previous four or five years I knew what I wanted (or at least thought I did) and spoke to many web design agencies. However, I decided to use ooba:interactive because you took the time to really find out my needs and requirements, listen to my ideas and suggest your own.

Because of this the my site isn’t just various parts bolted together, but is engineered to give an experience to the user and is engineered to get over my personality, not just explain the service I offer my potential clients. This is important as I want to build on the brand I have already established with my existing marketing.

Not only was time taken on the design to give the right feel, but I am pleased with how it has been built, and how technical "things” have been customised to create a unique site, and not just use "off the shelf parts”.

The integration of film, video, news, blogs and interactive and hidden features adds a new dimension to the site, yet doesn’t interfere with users quickly browsing for specific information.

Both the design and building of my website is far beyond what I could achieve, and no doubt many of the one-man-band web-developers could achieve. This gives my site the professionalism required to give my clients the confidence to book me.
