On Wednesday 8th September I performed close-up magic at the 40th anniversary event for the Association of University Engineers.  The event was arranged through Assured Events, and held at Albert's Shed, in Manchester.

Engineers are a funny breed (they admit this!) because they have the sort of mind that wants to find a solution.  My style of magic is of the variety that doesn't offer much in the way of clues as to how I achieve the impossible.  This lead to some fantastic reactions from the guests as I mixed around the bar area and dining room.  Hopefully I will get some photos from the event.

However, in the meantime I received a great email from Karl Perry, the Managing Director of Assured Events.  It's nice to know that not only did I entertain, but made so much impact that I was even discussed in the conference itself!
