Hi Everyone!

Many thanks to all of those that came to my show last month, and thanks again to all those that sent messages of support.

If you were unable to make it then no worries because the evening was filmed by a professional film-crew, the footage is currently in post-production and should be available on DVD during October (in time for Christmas!), more details can be found at www.robertbone.co.uk/dvd. A trailer and highlights of the show will be posted on my website over the next week so keep an eye out. For more information about the DVD please email robert@robertbone.co.uk.

The show also received quite a bit of coverage in local press, including a great review in The Newbury Weekly News, a feature article in a glossy magazine and interview on Newbury Sound.  (Listen to my interview and performing in the studio here.)

I also had many people asking if I will be performing the show again. I haven't any dates for public shows confirmed yet, but I hope to do a small tour in 2012, as well as perform the show at one or two fringe festivals next year. I'm welcome to suggestions for locations and venues, so if travelling to Newbury was too far please let me know.

Although this autumn has been hotter than summer, thoughts are turning towards Christmas. If you are involved in organising a Christmas party (perhaps at work, or for family and friends) please think of booking me to entertain everyone. At Christmas parties I can mingle around a drinks reception showing close-up magic to guests, or circulate around the tables showing everyone great magic that they will enjoy and remember for years to come.

This can be for large events where a room in a hotel is booked for the evening, through to more exclusive parties and events with smaller groups in restaurants or private dining areas. See the page on my website about Christmas Magic for more information.

Hi everyone,

Exciting news!  I’m performing an exclusive show on Wednesday 7th September near Newbury. This is a rare opportunity to see my show as I am usually booked to perform at private events.

Unlike at weddings and parties where I mainly perform close-up magic as I mingle with guests, this will be my full evening stage show, "Robert Bone – Demonstrator of Extra-Sensory Curiosities”.

The venue, New Greenham Arts, has tables (great for groups of friends, family or colleagues) and regular theatre seating, as well as a bar. The theatre also connects directly to an Indian restaurant so you can have a meal before or after the show, making it a great evening out! There is also a large (free!) car-park right outside.

Please note, the show isn't at the Newbury Corn Exchange, it's at New Greenham Arts (RG19 6HN) which is run by the same people who run the Corn Exchange, so don't go to the Corn Exchange that night!

There should also be tickets available on the door for any that haven't booked in advance and seating isn't pre-alocated. Therefore, if you booked your tickets in advance and a friend or colleague shows some last minute interest in coming then there shouldn't be any issues with you being able to sit together.

It's looking like this is going to be a fantastic night and I've been working on something special for the evening. I've invited some press so this has the potential to be one of those "I was there" events that should make it a night to
remember.
