A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of entertaining Lauren, Sean and all the guests at their wedding at Warbrook House which is Eversley (near Hook, in Hampshire). It’s a great venue and I work there regularly for proms and parties, but mostly for weddings.
I was booked by Lauren’s parents, Robert (good name!) and Pauline.
I arrived at the venue early to find they were running a little late. I always try to have flexibility on the day so we decided that I would get on and start performing around the tables between the courses – something I regularly do at parties and corporate events, but not at weddings. This kept the flow of the dinner going and the guests were unaware of any delays.
Once the meal was finished I stepped out whilst the speeches were given, then continued (as originally planned!) around the tables whilst the guests finished teas and coffees, the evening entertainment prepared and the evening guests arrived – who were promptly entertained
The following weekend I received an email from Robert and Pauline:
Thank you last weekend for the show you provided for Lauren and Sean’s wedding.
All of the comments we have received about your have been very complimentary and we and our guests were amazed by your illusions – Pauline and I are only sorry that we did not have more time to see you astounding more of our friends and family, we would have no hesitation in recommending you in the future.
Once again many thanks and kind regards,
Robert and Pauline
