It’s been a busy few weeks (even months!) over the summer period, with lots of various weddings and parties that I’ve entertained at. As always it’s great to get feedback from people afterwards.
Firstly I had an email from Sarah and Peter. Sarah is a professional photographer, and she booked me for her wedding following seeing me at a wedding in London last year.
Being in central London it made sense to have a London theme, and I’ve got to say it featured one of the most imaginative seating plans I’ve seen in years!
A few days later Sarah sent me an email thanking me:
Thanks so much for all your magical work at our wedding! Sorry for the late reply, we haven’t even been on honeymoon, I’ve had to get straight back to work on other people’s weddings!
Thanks for the pictures too, I had no idea what the venue was going to look like because I never gave them any specific decoration instructions and by the time I got in, everyone else was in there too! I hope you managed to take a sweetie bag home with you as well and I’m glad you enjoyed the meal, I hope it wasn’t too much hard work going up and down tables in between and you still got a break?
Everyone absolutely loved you at the wedding, I think you were a lot of people’s favourite part of the day, they kept saying to our later on how much they enjoyed the tricks, which I knew they would, having seen you at work before! And Pete’s Dad enjoyed watching him give himself away with your mind reading trick!
I will pop you over a little Google review in case it’s helpful for you, and of course will be singing your praises to any future couples that would like recommendations! Also we have a thank you card for you, could you let me know the best place to send it to?
Sarah & Pete
As mentioned, you can see the great photos Sarah took of me in my previous blog post, and make sure you check out her website: www.sarahannwright.com.
I was also booked recently by Claire to entertain the guests at her husband’s (Darren) 50th birthday celebrations. And instead of the centre of London, this was in the small market town of Royal Wootton Bassett in Wiltshire.
The magic went down so well that on the evening Claire asked me to stay longer! I must admit that I thought I was having a battle with the disco – but I could see the DJ was often looking over to watch the magic and even came up to me himself at the end of the evening.
The following day I received an email from Claire. Admittedly it is a little short – but considering they must have only been awake for a couple of hours (and not to mention the potential sore heads!) they must have enjoyed it to even consider writing! 😉
Thank you for last night.
I can honestly say you were a big hit !
